The Oil Is the Words of Jesus – The Well Is This Project
Think of it this way: the Words of Jesus are like precious oil. The world needs oil to run. In the very same way – and even more – the world needs the Gospel to live.
In this picture, the oil is the pure Words of Jesus. The What Did Jesus Say (WDJS) Book Project is the well. And every book we distribute is like a barrel of Gospel oil going out to a hungry, broken, and confused world.
Just like physical oil, Gospel oil must be brought out of the ground and delivered where it is needed. It does not flow by itself. It requires equipment, effort, and resources.
To bring this Gospel oil to the surface and distribute it widely, we are seeking to raise between $50,000 and $100,000. That is what it will take to effectively launch this project for maximum impact – printing books, marketing, media, and distribution.
When you join us, you are helping get this oil out of the ground and into the hands and hearts of people all over the world. And just as partners in an oil well share in the benefit of each barrel that comes out, you share in the blessing of each “barrel” of Gospel truth we send.
How It Works for the People You Refer
Through our Friends & Family Referral Program, you can introduce people you know to the WDJS Group Fund at https://wdjsbookproject.com. These may be family members, friends, clients, or ministry and business contacts who need extra income and want to be part of something that truly matters.
When they visit the website, they can choose the level of participation that fits them – from a minimum contribution of $500 up to a maximum of $5,000. Their contribution is not a blind donation. It is a mission-minded, performance-based partnership.
After they contribute, they receive a Personal Performance Agreement (PPA) from Rev. Terry, detailing their contribution and the projected return. Under this agreement:
Their initial contribution is scheduled to be returned to them first. Then, as the project generates earnings, they are positioned to receive up to 3 times the amount they originally contributed, paid out over time from the WDJS Group Fund as revenue comes in from book sales and related project income.
In other words, they help us get the Gospel oil out of the ground – and as that oil flows to others, they share in the blessing.
How It Works for You
When you refer someone to the WDJS Group Fund and they decide to join us by making a contribution, you are rewarded in two powerful ways.
First, you receive a 10% referral fee, paid in cash. For example, if two people you refer make a $5,000 contribution each ($10,000 total), you receive an immediate $1,000 referral fee.
Second, you receive your own matching Personal Performance Agreement (PPA) in the amount of $10,000 as their contribution. In the $10,000 example, you receive your own $10,000 PPA, which is paid out to you over time from the WDJS Group Fund as earnings come in.
This means you earn now – and you earn again later.
Imagine referring five people who each make a $10,000 contribution. You would receive $5,000 in immediate referral fees, plus five separate $10,000 PPAs, positioning you for $50,000 in future payouts as the project grows and the Gospel oil flows.
And as each book goes out – each “barrel of oil” – you have had a part in sending the Words of Jesus to someone who needed to hear Him.
This Is Not a Blind Donation – You Are a Partner
Most ministries ask for a donation – often called a “seed” – and then tell you to simply believe for the harvest with no real clarity on how or when anything might return.
This project is different. With the WDJS Friends & Family Referral Program, you are not just a donor. You are a partner. Partners know what their benefits are before they join.
Your participation is performance-based and Kingdom-centered. You are helping build something that advances the Gospel, and you are also positioned to receive clearly defined benefits as the project produces results.
